Australian cypress is a natural, termite resistant wood, which has a range of commercial uses including flooring, structural timber, flooring systems, cladding, furniture, feature fencing, decking, glue laminated products and a number of landscape products.

Groupe Gallien is a family-owned French company dedicated to forestry operations and processed wood products. It is active within the entire wood-processing industry, from the forest to the finished product. Peter Jansson Åkeri is a family-owned transportation company located near Uppsala in Sweden. It serves large forestry construction companies, as well as individuals, with leading forestry technology transportation solutions, such as on-truck chippers, timber trucks and demountable trucks.

Sägerei Bucher

Swiss sawmill company, Sägerei Bucher, specializes in the cutting and processing of spruce, pine, and other timbers. The company has further diversified, using waste wood residues from its sawmill to fuel a new gasifier. It provides renewable energy and heating for the plant, as well as contributing to the local grid. The technology to ensure that its wood chipping line perfectly matches the gasifier’s raw material requirements has been supplied by Bruks Siwertell.

SCA

Headquartered in Sundsvall, Sweden, SCA is Europe’s largest private forest owner. SCA manufactures processed wood products for the European building materials trade, as well as for the wood industry around the world, including a portfolio of packaging, print and pulp wood products and renewable energy. Building with wood is good for the climate, replacing other materials that have significantly greater carbon dioxide emissions.

SCA operates five sawmills in close proximity to the forest raw material base. The sawmills are well-invested and are among the largest in Europe with an annual capacity of 2.2 million m3 of solid-wood products. They have a high degree of automation and use x-ray technology to maximize the yield from every log. SCA is also one of Sweden’s largest biomass pellet manufacturers, predominantly using wood residues from its own sawmills.

ABP handles around one-quarter of the UK’s seaborne trade, including dry bulk cargoes, and contributing around GBP 7.5 billion to the UK economy every year. TAQA Morocco
